Dosage Guide

Dogs/Cats: 5-10 mg/kg PO once or twice daily. Birds: 25-50 mg/kg PO once daily (psittacosis: 45-day course). Always give with food or water to prevent esophageal irritation.

Side Effects

Important Warnings

Contraindications

Do not use this medication in the following situations:

  • Concurrent use with oral antacids or calcium supplements (separate by 2+ hours)
